I'd never heard of Ajaccio until now - let's have a meet up there in the sun and warmth, shall we?! I think I'd prefer the cliffs and birdwatching to the beach.

So Isle of Man has their own stamps? Interesting. Great set.

The castle on the first stamp seems a sand castle :)

I'm writing from the Mediterranean coast, so we have probably a temperature similar to Ajaccio. Which, actually, is not good for this time of the year. It should be cooler.

Corsica is a beautiful island an excellent place to meet up. When I visited it was summer and managed to pick the hottest day of the year to be climbing a gully where the red granite rocks were trapping the heat so hyper ventilated half way up. An interesting experience! In today's warming climate something to avoid and head for the beach.

Magnifique série de timbres avec un coup de cœur pour les oiseaux (éperviers et cormorans ?)
