Tatton Park Post

 Post Box Number WA16 83
A George VI (1936-52) postbox with its curly G at Tatton Park in Cheshire. A deer park, lake, mansion and 50 acres of gardens. Something for everyone. The postbox is just around the corner from the shop, which of course sells postcards.

I hate to think these wonderful red boxes are going to be a part of the past before too much longer. I just adore them.

Genie - I think there will be such an outcry that they won't disappear. I think lots will become 'listed' in some way like the phone boxes.
