| A Flower Fairy Alphabet by Cicely Mary Barker |
The Mallow Fairy will have to wait a couple of months for Mallows to flower but once they do they will be everywhere and the fairy will have long months to fly amongst them.
The story is that wherever and whenever a seed sprouts a Flower Fairy is born, as the plant grows, the fairy grows.

I have never heard of mallows before; marshmallows I'm much more familiar with :)
All sweet postcards! Love the Mallow card.
Mallow is new for me as well. That fairy looks rather wistful. The Peruvian Lily is beautiful and I'm glad it has spread beyond its homeland. Good catch on the bunny ears!!
Now you have met one of the ingredients of that sweet treat. The original marshmallow recipe used the root sap of Mallow, today it is replaced by gelatin. The Mallow likes damp places so its other name is Marsh Mallow.
All so pretty. I have the wild mallow in my yard, which looks pretty much like the image here, but dark purple. It's very pretty, but later in the season gets rust all over the leaves.
Me too, I learn today the word "mallow"!
I like your sweet choice for this week's theme :)
